The team members introduce themselves

Karl Lankmayr has more than 25 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting and SMEs and has been Managing Director of AG Capital since 2021. Before joining AG Capital, since 2014, Karl had been managing aws Mittelstandsfonds, an Austrian private equity fund focusing on the SME segment, where he held numerous advisory and supervisory board positions in portfolio companies. Prior to that, he held various positions at Noreia Capital, Alukönigstahl Group, Raiffeisen Investment/Lazard and PwC Corporate Finance.

Karl studied International Business Administration at the FH Kufstein and La Trobe University Melbourne. Further, he completed executive education programmes at the London Business School and Harvard Business School.

Daniel Jennewein is Joint Managing Director of AG Capital, with over 25 years experience in Private Equity Management and SMEs.

His qualifications include an Executive MDA from IMD, Lausanne and he is a trained business coach (ESBA) completing the hgmp Leadership Programme at the Hernstein Institute.

Daniel was a founding member of the team at Lead Equities, an Austrian Private Equities Fund focusing on the SME segment in the DACH region. He held various management, advisory and supervisory positions on the boards of Lead Equities portfolio of companies, rising to the role of Managing Partner. In 2014, Daniel joined MRHG Holding AG as a Board Member with special responsibility for Leder & Schuh AG and it's core brand Humanic.

Lorenz Ambrosius gained his first professional experience through internships in private equity, investment banking, venture capital and asset management. Most recently, he worked in the investment team of BlackFin Capital Partners and the M&A team of Corporate Finance Mittelstand, a mid-cap focused M&A advisor.

Lorenz completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Potsdam and a Master’s degree in International Finance at the Nova School of Business and Economics. During his studies, he also participated in an exchange program at the University of Technology in Sydney.

Anita Györi has more than 15 years of experience in controlling and finance at Austrian and international banks. Before joining the AG Capital team in 2023, she worked as Risk Manager at CA Immobilien Anlagen AG and previously as Head of Group Controlling at VTB Bank Europe SE.

In addition to Mrs. Györi Master's degree in business administration with a focus on controlling from Corvinus University in Budapest she also holds the CFA accreditation of the CFA Institute.

Vsevolod Kornilov has over 5 years of Private Equity experience. Before joining AG Capital in 2021, he worked as an investment manager at aws Mittelstandsfonds, a private equity fund focusing on Austrian SMEs. There he made investments in the embedded computing, automotive and medical technology sectors. Vsevolod started his professional career at Raiffeisen Bank in investment banking.

Vsevolod holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration and a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and studied at the University of Texas at Austin in the USA. He holds the CFA accreditation of the CFA Institute.

Paula Meertz has been working as an investment analyst at AG Capital since 2025. Prior to that, she gained valuable professional experience as an assistant manager in the Deals & Strategy department at KPMG and also completed several internships abroad.

Ms. Meertz completed her bachelor's degree in “International Business Administration” at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2020.
She then completed her master's degree in “Strategic Management & International Business” at the University of Vienna, which she successfully completed in 2023.

Max Niedersüß has been working as an Investment Analyst at AG Capital since June 2026. Previously, he was a co-founder and COO of the AI ​​software startup SalesPort, where he was responsible for fundraising, finance, legal affairs, and operational management.
In this role, he helped guide the company from its inception through a funding round to profitability and the acquisition of its first enterprise clients. Prior to that, he gained professional experience in M&A at Deloitte and in corporate banking at Raiffeisen Bank International.

Mr. Niedersüß completed his Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2022. He subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management with distinction in 2024.

Mr. Oberkofler has 9 years of experience in private equity and M&A / restructuring advisory and has been part of the AG Capital team since 2021. Previously, he worked at aws Mittelstandsfonds, an Austrian private equity fund, and in the M&A / restructuring area at the leading consulting firm Deloitte in Vienna.

Mr. Oberkofler holds a master's degree from the Karl-Franzens University of Graz with a specialization in banking and finance as well as external accounting and is a graduate of the International Turnaround Professional course at the FH Kufstein.

Oskar Prasser has been an Investment Analyst at AG Capital since 2024 and previously supported us as an intern. Prior to that, Mr. Prasser gained his first professional experience through internships in the areas of venture capital, asset management and consulting.

Mr. Prasser successfully completed his Bachelor's degree in "Business and Economics (BBE)" at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
During his studies, he specialized in the areas of financial markets, institutions and instruments as well as strategy and corporate organizations.
He wrote his bachelor's thesis on "Shareholder activism and ESG: how does the stock market react to engagements relating to corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives?"

Esther Schmidt joined AG Capital in February 2023 as executive assistant. She has several years of experience in assistance, office and event management.

Ms. Kristandl has several years of experience in consulting at BCG with a focus on M&A, restructuring and strategy development.

Before becoming part of the AG Capital team in 2025, she was a Senior Associate at Liechtenstein Group, focusing on renewable energies and agriculture.
Ms. Kristandl completed the CEMS Double Degree Master's program in “International Management” at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Bocconi University in Milan.
She also holds the CFA Level I from the CFA Institute.
